Get up and
running fast

AlbumOS is built to be simple. Most teams are creating their first album within five minutes of signing up.

Quick start

From brief to album in three steps

01

Drop in your brief

Paste a brief, upload rough notes, or drop in a voice memo transcript into the New Album input. AlbumOS reads the intent and generates a structured album.

02

Review the album structure

AlbumOS returns a full album — slides organized into a narrative arc, auto-generated tasks per slide, and open questions surfaced. Review and adjust as needed.

03

Invite your team and start executing

Share the album link or invite team members. Assign tasks, attach references, resolve open questions, and watch the Clarity Score rise as the project sharpens.

Core concepts

The vocabulary of AlbumOS

Album

A structured creative project. Contains slides, tasks, references, and open questions. The album is the deliverable — not a doc about the deliverable.

Slide

A section of the deliverable. Each slide is a contextual unit: a container for content, the tasks it needs, the references that support it, and the decisions made about it.

Task

Work generated automatically from the album structure. Tasks carry context — the why, the assets, the AI prompt to use, and what done looks like.

Clarity Score

A live measure of how complete and honest the project is. Tracks unresolved questions, incomplete tasks, and missing references. Rises as the album sharpens.

Reference

Any file, link, or asset attached to a specific slide. Brand guidelines, Figma files, competitor screenshots, copy docs — all live where they're needed.

Open Question

An ambiguity that could stall the work. AlbumOS surfaces these automatically and keeps them visible until someone resolves them.

FAQ

Common questions

How do I get started with AlbumOS?

Sign up for early access, then click New Album. Paste your brief or project notes and click Generate. AlbumOS will return a structured album with slides, tasks, and open questions in under a minute.

What should I put in my brief?

Anything that describes what you're making: the goal, the audience, the deliverable type, the timeline, key constraints. Even rough notes work. AlbumOS infers structure from whatever you give it.

Can I edit the generated album?

Yes — fully. Add slides, remove sections, rewrite content, reassign tasks, attach your own references. The AI-generated album is a starting point, not a locked output.

How do I share an album with my team or a stakeholder?

Click Share in the album toolbar to get a shareable link. Stakeholders can view the album without an account. To collaborate and assign tasks, team members need to be invited to your workspace.

What is the Clarity Score?

The Clarity Score is a live measure of how complete your album is — combining task completion, resolved open questions, and attached references. A score of 100 means every slide has what it needs to be complete.

Is AlbumOS free?

Yes. The Starter plan is free and includes 5 albums and 50 AI-generated slides per month. The Pro plan ($18/mo) unlocks unlimited albums and AI generation. Team plans start at $42/seat/month.
