Changelog

What's new

Every update, improvement, and new feature — shipped in the open.

v0.4.0March 14, 2026

Progressive clarity indicators

Albums now show a visual sharpness indicator at the top level and per-slide. As tasks complete and references are attached, the clarity score updates in real time — giving the whole team an honest picture of where the project actually stands. No more guessing.

v0.3.2February 28, 2026

Import from .pptx and .pdf

You can now import existing presentation files directly into AlbumOS. Drop in a .pptx or .pdf and AlbumOS will analyze the content, structure it into an album, and auto-surface tasks and missing references. Existing work, finally alive.

v0.3.0February 10, 2026

Contextual reference attachments

References, assets, and documents can now be attached directly to individual slides rather than the whole album. Brand guidelines, moodboards, copy docs — they live exactly where they're needed. No more hunting through Drive or Slack to find the thing you need for the thing you're making.

v0.2.1January 22, 2026

Auto task tagging by type

Tasks surfaced from album content are now automatically tagged by type: Copywriting, Design, Review, Approval, Research, and more. Filter your task view by type to see what kind of work is blocking the project — and who should be doing it.

v0.2.0January 8, 2026

Branded share links and in-context feedback

Pro plan albums can now be shared via branded links with your own domain. Reviewers can leave feedback directly on individual slides — no more "see comments in the deck" emails. Feedback threads live inside the album, attached to the slide they belong to.

v0.1.0December 15, 2025

Early access launch

AlbumOS is live. Drop in a brief, get back a structured album. Auto tasks surface from slide content. Share via link. This is the first version of something we've been building toward for a long time — a workspace that starts from the deliverable and works backward. We're just getting started.
